The St. Louis Hometown celebrated National Suicide Prevention Month by participating in the Walk Out of Darkness event hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Our team raised $1,710, and employees participated by walking approximately four miles in small groups through various communities, parks, etc. The Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education, and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.
