DERA Program

Earlier this year, Heartland received grant funding through the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) program. Through this initiative, we replaced 10 diesel trucks with new diesel tractors containing current federally regulated diesel emissions systems. These new tractors will reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides and fine particle pollution. Thanks to the Leonardo Academy and the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) DERA program, we will continue to keep our customers and consumers refreshed while protecting our environment.
