Our Heartland family in Quincy, Illinois was able to show off their basketball skills at the 2nd Annual Hoopin with the Hawks event at Quincy University. Each year the school organizes an All-Star Basketball Tournament to show support for the Region H Special Olympic Athletes. Every team that participates features multiple athletes that capture the hearts of the crowd and their teams. In the championship game Heartland defeated another team to win the entire tournament! We were glad to participate in this amazing event and winning was just the cherry on top!
