Over March, five of our Heartland Hometowns raised money and participated in their local Special Olympics Polar Plunge! Every year our teams look forward to this event, and it was great to have it back in person for the first time in two years.

As a company, this was our most successful plunge to date! Our Kansas City hometown raised just shy of $6,000, and Central IL was close behind with $4,435. Our STL team raked in $3,183, Central MO raised $925, and our South hometown raised $1,080. Our KC and South hometown also brought home hardware by winning the Most Money Raised – Corporate award at their respective events. In total, Heartland Coca-Cola donated $15,617 to the Special Olympics altogether!

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, donated their time, or took the plunge themselves! We can’t wait until next year!
