In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the establishment of Saint Charles, Missouri, 25 local businesses, including Heartland Coca-Cola, were given statues of Lewis and Clark’s famous dog, Seaman, to decorate. The figure of Seaman, located in front of our St. Charles distribution center, was designed and painted by our very own Jacob Birdsong. Jacob is not only our point of sales coordinator in Lenexa, but he is also an extremely talented artist. Art gives Jacob the ability to be creative and work with his hands. He enjoys drawing inspiration from many other styles of art and incorporating it into his pieces. The inspiration and style for the Heartland Coca-Cola Seaman statue came from his love of Low-rider culture. Jacob said he felt blessed to utilize his God-given talent and create something people will enjoy when they visit Heartland Coca-Cola!
