As an organization, we are continuously spearheading programming that reinforces our commitment to investing in our people’s professional development. In collaboration with the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL), our Senior Leadership team recently completed and graduated from The Bridgeman Leadership Academy (BLA). The Academy is a leader learning program that takes participants through interactive sessions covering topics such as People Leadership, Thought Leadership, Result Oriented Leadership, and Personal Leadership. The program also aims to develop participants’ strategic thinking, decision-making, long-term vision, and planning skills. The program has components that will help build personal and professional skills in emotional, compassion, valuing diversity, and embracing servant leadership, integrity, and vulnerability. Over the next three years, leaders throughout Heartland will participate in and complete this program. This curriculum will also be offered to newly promoted or hired leaders to ensure Heartland’s learning and servant leadership culture is carried forward as we grow.
