If you journey to our production plant in Lenexa, Kansas, you might be lucky enough to meet Adam Chaffin. Adam has been working as a premix operator for 22 years and is a member of the Employee Engagement Committee. In addition to being a loyal Heartland employee, Adam is also an Olympic gold medalist. He has participated in Special Olympics since he was eight years old, and has won gold medals in track and field, soccer, softball, bowling, skiing, basketball, and swimming. Through Adam’s efforts, Coca-Cola has been able to develop a relationship with Special Olympics. Adam has participated with the Coca-Cola volunteer team for Special Olympics Kansas Summer Games. He was recognized for his participation in Special Olympics and his years of service with Coca-Cola during the event. “I love working at the Lenexa production plant,“ Adam said. “It is a special place because I have so many good friends who look out for me.”
